How to become a Habitat volunteer

Habitat for Humanity of Denton County is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us in our mission to end substandard housing throughout Denton County. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities, with onsite construction work being the most popular form.

    ATTENTION - In order to be a volunteer, you will need be an approved volunteer. To become an approved volunteer, fill out the application and send it in to our office. You can email it to assistant@hfhdc.com or fax to 940-293-1804. Your application will be processed. This will include a background check. Once that is cleared, we will call you and put you in contact with the appropriate volunteer coordinator. The entire process normally only takes two days, so please do not let the background check deter you!
